Gold Rush

Each year, the Good Shepherd Longview Guild votes to support a needed service or project that is recommended to them from Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview. Since 1984, Gold Rush has played a vital role in the development and advancement of such services as the Heart Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Perinatology Clinic and Women's Center, the Shepherd House, the Digital Mobile Mammography Service, Phase II of the Medical Simulation Center, facility improvements which support the Graduate Medical Education program and 3D Mammography Technology.

This year, the CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Guild voted to fund new cardiovascular equipment for CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center - Longview. The Medical Center’s heart-lung bypass machines will be replaced and an IVUS ultrasound will be added.

The evening's festivities will begin with music from Mariachi Neuva Era, of Arlington. Dance music will later be provided by The Project. A silent auction will be open from 6:30 until 9 pm and is immediately followed by an exciting live auction. Dozens of local restaurants will also be on-site featuring delicious food samples throughout the evening.

Event goers can also participate in a reverse raffle for a 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost.

The 2017 Gold Rush gala will be held on Saturday, October 21.
