Ambulatory Surgical Center
Good Shepherd Ambulatory Surgical Center is a freestanding, independent Surgical Center connected by an air-conditioned sky bridge to Good Shepherd Medical Center.
The 45,700 square foot Center welcomes patients and their family members into a beautiful, relaxing waiting area with seating for 80. Features of the Center include 25 pre-operative surgery stations, eight surgical suites, a 30-bed Recovery area, two fluoroscopy suites connected digitally to Good Shepherd’s Medical Imaging department, nine gastroenterology suites and a pain management suite. Outpatient procedures offered include:
- General surgery
- Ear, Nose and Throat surgery
- Plastic and Cosmetic surgery
- Orthopaedic surgery
- Podiatric surgery
- Gynecological surgery
- Pain management therapy
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic gastrointestinal (GI) procedures
- Ophthalmologic surgery
- Urology surgery
- Neurological Surgery

In November of 1995, the ASC received the JCAHO accreditation with commendation award recognizing the successful efforts of the ASC to provide high quality care for those that the Good Shepherd Ambulatory Surgical Center serves.
