Mammography
Good Shepherd Medical Center offers complete mammography services by a female registered mammography staff. Mammography equipment with Image Checker Computer Aided Detection (CAD)
helps Board-Certified Radiologists make more precise diagnoses. This equipment identifies suspicious areas that need more detailed review by highlighting areas containing features associated with cancer.
The Good Shepherd Women’s Center, an outpatient center conveniently located in the Marketplace Shopping Center, 103 W. Loop 281, also provides bone densitometry screening. (See Women’s Services for more information.)
