The Center for Reconstructive Urology offers East Texans a level of urology care never before available in our community. The center’s board certified urologists offer routine urology care as well as highly specialized reconstructive urology services.

The physicians and providers at the Center for Reconstructive Urology can address a variety of health conditions and concerns, including:

Urethral stricture disease: Scarring of the urethra which limits or blocks the flow of urine after trauma, inflammation, radiation, or balanitis xerotica obliterans (BXO)

Incontinence: The uncontrolled loss of urine in both female and male patients

Peyronie’s disease: Penile curvature often caused by a painful lump in the penis

Pelvic floor relaxation and prolapse: Weakening of the muscles that support the pelvis in women causing urinary problems and protrusion of the vagina

Neurogenic bladder: Urinary difficulties due to spinal cord injury, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disorders

Erectile difficulties: Related to penile function and low testosterone levels

Congenital urologic problems: Abnormalities of the genitals from birth, including hypospadias and epispadias

Overactive bladder: Causing the constant urge to urinate and frequent urination

Genitourinary trauma: Injuries affecting the genitals and urinary organs

Fistulas: Abnormal connections between bladder and vagina, bowel, or urethra
