Respiratory Care is defined as an allied health specialty with medical direction in education, treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.The pulmonary services department at Good Shepherd Medical Center Marshall provides inpatient care seven days a week and 24 hours a day by licensed respiratory therapists. We provide respiratory care for all ages, from newborn to geriatric.

  • Arterial blood analysis
  • Fiberoptic bronchoscopy
  • Aerosolized medication delivery
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Neonate through adult ventilator management
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Postural drainage
  • Sputum induction
  • Patient transports
  • Airway management
  • CPR

Outpatients are seen 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday
