    Good Shepherd Health System Selects Duke LifePoint Healthcare as Potential Partner

    The Good Shepherd Health System today announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding to be acquired by Duke LifePoint Healthcare, subject to approval of the amended lease by the Gregg County Commissioners Court. The proposed acquisition would provide additional resources to help Good Shepherd enhance its services and thrive in the future.

  • Free Prostate Screenings June 21, 23

    Good Shepherd Medical Center will provide free prostate screenings on Tuesday, June 21 at Medical Plaza III (705 E. Marshall Ave.) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Thursday, June 23 at the Institute for Healthy Living (3133 Good Shepherd Way) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

    In anticipation of area children being out of school for the summer and spending time on their bicycles, Good Shepherd Emergency Center – Kilgore, in conjunction with Texas Medical Association, will host “Hard Hats for Little Heads” – a bicycle safety event – Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Kilgore City Park (large pavilion).
