Food and Nutrition Services
Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery.
Patients are served breakfast between 7 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.; lunch between 11:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; and dinner between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Occasionally your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. You will be served as soon as possible after an examination or test.
Your breakfast tray will include a menu from which you can order your meals. Please mark your menu when you receive your tray so it will be ready for pick up. Give the menu to your nurse or nurse aid to ensure your selection is ordered. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your physician, you will receive menus tailored to your specific needs.
A family member or friend is welcome to eat in your room with you by purchasing a meal in the cafeteria and taking it back to your room.

The Good Shepherd Cafeteria is located on the second floor of the main building and is open daily. Visitors are welcome to eat in the Cafeteria any time it is open. The times are as follows:

Vending Machines
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located throughout the hospital. Ask your nurse for the one located nearest your room.
