Patient Guide
For countless centuries, the Shepherd has symbolized one of the human spirit’s most treasured resources — one’s capacity to care. Thus it was from the Shepherd that we took our name. We selected two staffs and crossed them to represent the inseparable relationship between our facility and the community we serve. The staffs form a heart as well, to symbolize love for all. Like the Shepherd, then, we are here for but one reason: to provide quality care.
As a dedicated member of the community for more than 70 years, we are committed to bringing our community and your family comprehensive health services in a compassionate setting. Our professional and caring staff is devoted to providing you with very good care and making you as comfortable as possible during your stay with us.
This Patient Handbook has been prepared to better acquaint you with Good Shepherd’s quality services. Should you have any questions, please ask your nurse, the Guest Relations Specialist or Customer Service Representative. Our professionals – physicians, nurses, technicians and support personnel – thank you for choosing Good Shepherd Medical Center for your hospital care. It is a privilege to serve you.
Sincerely,
Edward D. Banos
President and Chief Executive Officer
