Romans 6:1-5 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more kindness and forgiveness? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we became Christians and were baptized to become one with Christ Jesus, we died with him? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised as he was. NLT

 By this we KNOW we will be raised as He was. How was He raised? He was NOT a hovering spirit without a body. He had the scars of the cross that could be touched & felt. He ate & drank. He walked & talked in what appeared to be a regular body. And he made sure to even point out that he was NOT a ghost.

Lord, thank You for baptism, that seals our fate & assures our resurrection to eternal life. Come quickly! In Jesus Name, Amen.
