Digital Mobile Breast Center
Good Shepherd Medical Center is excited to launch Longview’s first and only Digital Mobile Breast Center. The Good Shepherd Digital Mobile Breast Center provides another tool in raising awareness about breast health and the early detection of breast cancer. This digital mobile mammography service allows the Breast Center to serve Good Shepherd clinics, businesses, civic groups, churches, schools, regional medical facilities and health fairs with accessible and affordable digital screening mammography.
The Digital Mobile Breast Center offers digital screening mammography services on a routine basis in many locations to make it convenient and easy for patients to receive an annual mammogram in their own community. Dedicated to community outreach and breast care education, this unit is equipped with advanced digital equipment and screenings are performed by an all-female, advanced level certified mammography staff.
A woman is not eligible for a mammogram on the Mobile Breast Center if she:
• has been diagnosed with breast cancer;
• is currently being treated for breast cancer;
• has a new breast problem (feels a lump, skin changes or discharge); or
• is breast feeding or has breast fed within the last nine months.
