The Foundation
The Good Shepherd Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation formed in 1986 to promote the improvement of regional health services by encouraging philanthropic support of the not-for-profit Good Shepherd Medical Center.
Our Mission
The Board’s mission, in partnership with Good Shepherd Medical Center, is to promote and provide philanthropic support to fund programs and services, provide community education and ensure that access to quality healthcare services remains available to all persons regardless of ability to pay.
Ways to Give?
Donors can support the Good Shepherd Foundation in a number of ways:
- Memorials, Honorariums, A Star is Born, and Grateful Patient gifts are a touching way to pay tribute to a loved one, friend or care giver.
- Planned Giving offers some tax benefits for contributions received through charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable annuity trusts, and estate planning.
- Gold Rush is the Good Shepherd Guild’s annual fund raiser that has played a vital role in the development and advancement of such services as the Heart Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Good Shepherd’s Institute for Healthy Living, The Breast Center, the Perinatology Clinic and Women’s Center, and Shepherd House.
